Finance company strikes huge deal

A LOCALLY owned and operated Toowoomba finance broking company has continued the garden city’s trend of attracting internatio­nal business interests.

PMG Finance has signed a long-term deal as the Australian finance provider with Canadian-based internatio­nal auction house Ritchie Bros Auctioneer­s.

“We are humbled that Ritchie Bros has chosen a family-owned Toowoomba-based business to partner with and to provide finance on their behalf around Australia,” PMG director Darryl Jonson said.

“This partnershi­p shows considerab­le faith in our company and will potentiall­y double our operation in the coming years.”

people in the region, as PMG will be in a position to employ additional staff and generate further opportunit­ies for people wishing to work in the finance industry.

“Even though Ritchie Bros is a global company that operates in over 15 countries, they are family owned and share our same core values centred around providing clients the very best service,” PMG director Paul Dashwood said.

“PMG Finance plans on opening a custom built office within their existing building in Toowoomba in the near future. This will house the new dedicated Ritchie Bros finance team.

“It will be great to have a dedicated presence in the region to service our growing client base.

“The office will be branded as Ritchie Bros Financial Services.

“We look forward to working together with Ritchie Bros and continuing to service both theirs and our existing and new clients.”
