LIFESHAPE CLINIC IS CELEBRATING 10 YEARS SINCE ITS FIRST CLIENT IN TOOWOOMBA.

While many things have changed since the LifeShape Clinic first opened here in January 2008, their commitment to improving the health of Toowoomba residents hasn’t.

LifeShape Clinic chief executive officer and founder Neil Holt said they saw the need to extend their services because the clinic had a number of clients making the weekly commute to Brisbane for their weight loss programs.

“By establishing in Toowoomba, we were able to make our high quality health services more accessible to the region,” Neil says.

From their humble beginnings in Southeast Queensland, LifeShape Clinic has since expanded to Sydney and Melbourne, helping more than 10,000 Australians lose more than 100,000 kilograms across the eastern seaboard.

“Everyone wants good health, so I feel very proud to have grown our business to Sydney and Melbourne,” Neil says.

“However we are more committed than ever to reducing the health risks associated with obesity close to home in Toowoomba and Brisbane.”

That’s just as well, given 63 per cent of Toowoomba residents are overweight, 5% above the national average.
