Emma fulfils her business dream
CROWS Nest resident Emma Cannon has been nominated for the WFI Insurance Small Business Achiever Award, one of eight categories in the Queensland Young Achiever Awards.
This category promotes those who “give it a go” through determination, innovation, hard work and self-motivation, rewarding those who make their own luck and opportunities a reality.
Mrs Cannon is the owner of Charlotte and Co Couture, a beautiful online and market boutique clothing store for baby girls.
Mrs Cannon was inspired to fulfil her dream after giving birth to her fourth child in September 2016, a gorgeous baby girl Charlotte after having three sons Jordan, Harry and Lachlan.
She opened her business in August 2017 offering Darling Downs customers free delivery and has more recently been invited to partake at the Christmas market held at Grand Central.
She started with shirts and shorts and has now expanded into beautiful rompers, dresses and floral headbands.
Mrs Cannon was also invited by her supplier to attend the Sydney Textiles & Clothing Expo in November.
The Awards aim to encourage, reward and most importantly promote the positive achievements of young Queenslanders up to and including 29 years of age.
