North Toowoomba business for sale

-

THE home of a well-known and established local business has been listed for sale by Ray White Commercial Toowoomba.

Toowoomba First Aid Supplies, which has been operating in the area for more than 20 years, occupies the retail-office asset at 145 Ruthven Street, North Toowoomba.

Agent Peter Marks is seeking expressions of interest in the property, which is located on the intersection of Isaac Street.

“It’s in a premium position with prime corner exposure and easy access on 476sqms with four dedicated car spaces,” Mr Marks says.

“The 130sqm building includes a reception area, two offices and a large conference room or showroom.

The premises would suit an investor or an end-user.”

Interest in Toowoomba commercial property has been heating up in recent months as many non-local buyers look for investment alternatives to major metropolitan areas, according to Ray White Commercial research.

Low interest rates and strong demand for high-yielding investments were behind a surge through 2017 which is expected to continue well into 2018.

Toowoomba First Aid Supplies is on a three-year lease with a net rental income of $27,720 per annum.

The zoning of the site is low-medium density residential.

Mr Marks says the property offers storage space, including storage under the building, and is close to Northpoint Shopping Centre.

Expressions of interest for 145 Ruthven Street close at 4pm (local time) on March 8, 2018.
