Boom suburbs to watch in Toowoomba

-

THE number of first-home buyers entering the market has increased considerably around the country, including Toowoomba.

With Toowoomba constantly growing, it can be difficult to know what suburb to best invest your money in.

Raine and Horne Toowoomba property sales consultant Paddy Ryan suggested first-home buyers should look at entering the market through properties in Centenary Heights.

“The homes in Centenary Heights are not only affordable but are close to great services, shops and schools,” he said.

Mr Ryan said Rangeville, the Highfields area and Newtown were just some of the “boom” suburbs to watch.

“I think Rangeville is the suburb with the biggest growth potential,” he said.

“People want to live over the eastern side near the escarpment. It has everything going for it with great services, shops, schools and neighbouring suburbs.

“It has huge potential and in time I think it may be the number-one suburb.”

Highfields is also a bustling, growing suburb, according to Mr Ryan.

“There are so many good services and new developments in the area,” he said.

“The accessibility to the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing also makes it appealing because it offers easy access to Brisbane.”

He said Newtown was another suburb which could offer great returns on properties due to its close proximity to the CBD.
