Chamber focuses on networking, skill development

-

THE Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce delivers a range of benefits to its members, including targeted business networking opportunities as well as support to develop skills that will directly assist in growing their businesses.

Business @ Dusk has been chamber’s premier networking event for many years, being hosted in a different Toowoomba business each month, enabling members to get to know the local business community and build their business to business networks.

With 250 business representatives attending the Business @ Dusk event hosted by Wellcamp Airport last week, this event remains as relevant and popular as ever.

In response to member demand for skill development opportunities, chamber is currently delivering two training initiatives.

The Building Better Business Workshop Series is well under way with the third workshop (Business Value Maximisation) in a five-workshop program being delivered today.

Businesses are still able to attend the final two workshops to be delivered during March – Investor Ready and Utilisation of Profits.

Following on from the Building Better Business Workshop will be Digital Retail Workshops aimed at assisting Toowoomba businesses wishing to incorporate retail capacity as part of their digital strategy.

This training opportunity will help businesses develop their own individual digital road maps and build the digital solutions to implement their digital and mobile strategy.

To better understand capabilities for developing smartphone and tablet app, websites and incorporating the use of other innovative technologies to improve their bottom line.
