Rain holds off to lead to perfect day

FOR Brittany Fowler (nee Salomon) getting married in Toowoomba’s Laurel Bank Park was a special moment.

“I grew up in Toowoomba, we would go to the park after family events and I always had good memories there,” Mrs Fowler said.

“I knew it would be pretty, as the parks have nice flowers.

“It was just a nice outdoor wedding and was exactly what I pictured.”

Mrs Folwer met her husband Aaron at school, but they did not become an item until several years after graduation.

“Walking down the aisle, to be honest I was thinking I’m very grateful the weather turned out absolutely perfect as every event planned previously regarding the wedding had been rained on,” she said.

“Planning a wedding was always going to be stressful, but I had amazing bridesmaids and family to help plan.

“They made sure things went smoother than if I had to do it by myself.”

Mrs Fowler said her advice to a bride-to-be would be to stress less.

“The whole process of just being engaged goes really fast,” she said.

“Being engaged is quite a special time with your partner and its not something you get to do everyday.

“It’s a little special moment before you become husband and wife.”

The wedding was held on December 10, 2017.
