Looking back at some of the highlights out of last weekend’s Clifford Park race meeting. THE WIN

EARLY-season two-year-old form stood up when Pat O’Shea Plate runner-up ACCOMPLISH made a successful return to Clifford Park from city company to wrap up a well-deserved victory for trainer Michael Nolan and her connection­s in the Two-Year-Old Maiden Plate.

THE TRAINER

BEN CURRIE followers were on the mark with stable wins to Captain Leo and Break Time while KEVIN KEMP maintained his consistent season roll with wins to Tedder Avenue and War Front moving him to a clear second spot on the Clifford Park trainer’s premiershi­p ladder.

THE RIDER

APPRENTICE­S NICK KEAL and BAYLEE NOTHDURFT wasted little time getting their Clifford Park eyes back in after recent suspension­s with each landing a winning double on the seven-race card.

Race 1: The money went on River Fire off-course and no money came back to the track. There some specking for I’m Favulous at 14.00. The winner Love Ya Mrs was the only one punters on-course wanted. There was one good phone bet of $2000 at 2.00 to start bookies off on the wrong foot.

Race 2: There was early money for Big Dan The Man at 5.00. The favourite Kubbit Raheeb was easy to lay at 3.20. There was small money for the winner Tedder Avenue at 8.00.

Race 3: Bookies could not lay the favourite in Black Mink and were 2.50 at jump time with no money. Captain Leo was easy to lay 4.00. The big money went on Dream Of Ascot at 4.40, with one phone bet of $2000 at 4.00. The winner Captain Leo got the bookies out of trouble.

Race 4: Mishani Roman was backed at 4.60. There was some rough specking for General's Bride. The bookies risked the favourite and winner Accomplish and bet 1.80, to see the tote pay 1.50.

Race 5: A small betting race, with money eachway for Wolf Tales. The favourite and winner Shuda Known Better saw good support at 3.20.

Race 6: There was small specking for Seq The Star at 8.00. The Currie Army came to the call and launched at the winner Break Time at 1.80. There was one good phone bet of $3000 at 1.80 to hand bookies a bad result.

Race 7: Here the punters only wanted the favourite Skylight, and took the 2.60. There was small money for Studly Rooster. The
