TELLS HOW TO WING IT

-

who’s doing well, and you can’t contribute because you don’t actually know what “good” looks like, Beau’s got two letters for you: JT.

“You can always say ‘I don’t care what anyone says, I still think JT is the greatest of all time’,” he says definitively.

“I truly believe that and he just gets better. It’s not fair. I can’t fault him anywhere – he’s pretty much perfect. I reckon he’s got bodies in the backyard or something. There’s got to be something. But saying JT is the best is pretty safe, everyone loves him I guess is what I’m trying to say.”

If you’re keen on getting a little controversial, Beau reckons back the Sydney Roosters.

“You can always say, ‘I think the Roosters are going to have a big year this year’ without knowing about anything because they’re always over the salary cap,” he says with sass.

A low, collective “Ooh” emits from the crowd. He went there. Now go google what being over the salary cap means.

Finally, you didn’t think our bluff king would leave you without an ejector seat, did you?

“If someone does pull you up on something that you’ve said that you’re obviously wrong about, take your phone out and say ‘I just gotta take this quickly,’ and walk away for long enough that they’ve forgotten what they were pulling you up on,” he advises.

“But you must have your phone on silent. My wife does it to me all the time.”
