New recruits ready to fly the flag for Elders Toowoomba

-

WHETHER it’s scoring tries or smashing the opposition in textbook tackles, Ben Hopper loves to make an impact for his cherished Pittsworth Danes.

And when it comes to the real estate game, the 26-year-old is looking to make just as big an impression.

He’s one of the new faces at Elders Toowoomba and, having spent a lifetime on the land, he comes from pretty good stock.

Under the professional direction of his uncle Ross and mentor Murray Troy, Ben is looking forward to the opportunity to flex his muscles in the real estate arena – and he couldn’t think of anywhere better to do that than at Elders Toowoomba. A company he’s been very familiar with most of his life.

"From when I was about 14, I used to help out at auctions and clearing sales with my uncle," Ben remembered. "I just liked the way Elders connected with the people on the land and I really wanted to work there."

Ben had previously worked for FK Gardner and Sons, an industry leader that he says opened his eyes to how a professional business should run.

"Like Elders, it’s a well-known company with strong foundations in the area," he said. "That’s why Elders holds such appeal because we’re also a great family orientated company that cares about the local community.

"I really look forward to working with clients through the selling and buying processes and helping them achieve the best possible result."

And Ben’s not alone when it comes to that sentiment.

His new work colleague and fellow sales and marketing specialist Caitlin Wright couldn’t agree more.

Already boasting an impressive background in the world of real estate, 26-year-old Caitlin says she is "very eager to learn new things and gain more experience".

Caitlin brings her superior local knowledge along with her passion and drive for real estate to Elders to broaden their residential sales sector.

Starting her career in real estate four years ago in administration, Caitlin was able to learn a lot about the industry before stepping up into sales.

Caitlin has been successful in sales for just over 12 months now and is motivated and determined to excel in her career further.

"I’ve always taken great pride in what I do and I’m loving the team here at Elders," Caitlin said.

As long-time locals, the pair will prove a welcome addition to the current team – bringing with them extensive local knowledge of Toowoomba and its surrounds.

"We both love the city," Ben said. "It’s not a Sydney or a Melbourne, so its size makes it pretty easy to know everyone and that makes for stronger relationships." Caitlin nods in agreement.

"It’s a great place to start in real estate," she said. "And we’re really looking forward to the opportunities ahead."
