Toowoomba Golf Club aces first wedding expo
THE Toowoomba Golf Club is hosting its first Bridal Expo showcasing the venue as well as local wedding vendors.
The venue’s diamond room, deck and ceremony green will be transformed into a wedding wonderland with a number of local vendors from all aspects of the wedding industry.
They include LA Hair Studio, Stella Beauty, In The Booth, Click Images, Potters Hotel, Merivale Cakes, Cloud Nine Celebrant, White Weddings Decorating and The Vault promoting hens and bucks parties.
Guests can come along, wander the grounds and chat to the professionals about how they can help make their dream day come true.
There will also be canape tastings by the Toowoomba Golf Club’s culinary team and live music on the deck.
Head chef Katie Phillips said the venue booked about 40 weddings a year but they were hoping to host more.
“It’s the perfect location for a wedding as it’s not too far out of town, and our beautiful green course and our camphor laurel tree is the perfect back drop for your special day,” she said.
Guests can also enter into a lucky draw on the day where one couple will win use of the club’s ceremony green for their wedding ceremony.
The Bridal Expo will be held on Sunday from noon until 4pm.
