GOT a spare $2 million on hand and a keen interest in owning two of the city’s most popular food outlets?

Toowoomba’s two Guzman Y Gomez stores are up for sale, and there’s a serious return on investment on offer for the successful buyer.

The Mexican restaurants, at Grand Central and South Toowoomba, have been listed for sale with each outlet offering 100-seat capacity as part of the well-established and recognised franchise chain.

The online listing promises a “massive turnover in excess of $3.9 million” and have a successful management team who currently operate the stores.

“Mexican cuisine is the new ‘it’ food with growth in the segment expected to explode,” the listing said.

“This is a unique opportunity to be able to buy two highlyprofitable franchised restaurants with such potential.”

The current owners are wanting to retire which puts the potential buyer “in the enviable position to enjoy the fruits of our labour”.

The South Toowoomba store, off Ruthven St, is described as having the “highest online sales in Australia” while the newer outlet at Grand Central has “constant foot traffic”.

Guzman Y Gomez first opened in Toowoomba in March 2015, in South Toowoomba.

The second store opened two years later at Grand Central.
