GREENS TELLING A LITTLE WHITE LIE

-

THE Greens are telling lies to destroy the reputation of Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton, and must be called out.

Dutton, two weeks ago, suggested Australia might help white farmers in South Africa to escape persecution, since they’d also proved to be “hard workers”.

Almost two farmers a week are now murdered, by some counts, and South Africa’s new President said they should have their farms taken without compensation.

Whipping up the hate is Julius Malema, racist head of South Africa’s third-biggest political party.

Malema has been convicted for singing “Kill the boer, the farmer” and recently called on blacks to “cut the throat of whiteness”.

Yet Greens leader Richard Di Natale, horrified that we may help whites, started to smear Dutton as an “out-and-out racist”.

“According to Peter Dutton, if you’re a white South African farmer, you are going to make a great contribution, you’re not going to bludge on welfare. But if you’re not white, you won’t do any of those things.”

False. Dutton has never said non-white immigrants were bludgers who’d never make a contribution. The opposite, in fact.

But Greens senator Nick McKim just piled on the wicked untruths: “You’ve got Mr Dutton … clearly suggesting that Australia’s immigration policy should be conducted on the basis of the colour of somebody’s skin, and it’s a simple reversion to the White Australia policy.”

False. Nowhere has Dutton said he wants a White Australia policy. In fact, he’s just brought over 12,000 refugees from Syria and Iraq.

Moreover, Dutton isn’t offering help to South African farmers because they are white. He is offering help to South African farmers persecuted because they are white.

But McKim hadn’t finished smearing Dutton as a racist running a racist program: “Of course, it’s got things to do with skin colour … There’s no white people locked up on Manus or Nauru.”

Fraudulent. The reason no white boat people have been sent to Manus Island or Nauru is because no white boat people have come. And still McKim went on: even calling Dutton a “fascist”.

Warning. All totalitarian movements do this. They demonise the “enemy”, strip them of humanity and make them seem so wicked that anything done against them is moral.

So you can lie about the enemy, hurt the enemy — even kill the enemy. It’s our duty, then, to call out the Greens’ lies.
