THERE is no denying all Valdal Projects’ renovations have the wow factor.
The Toowoomba-based building company is known for its exquisite renovations, but its latest work is on another level.
The Hamptons style home, complete with a pool, sauna, gym, fireplace and wine cellar, in East Toowoomba is a masterpiece.
The owners had two homes which backed onto each other, and the plan was to combine the blocks of land to create one large property.
Stuart Valdal said the renovation took five months to complete.
“The houses have been kept separate with a pool in between. So essentially they live in one home and use the other as a type of pool house,” he said.
“But with the external work you wouldn’t know they were ever two completely different houses, they were designed to blend together.
“The owners wanted to go with a Hamptons style home and they were very happy with the outcome.”
Valdal Projects was originally based in Brisbane but Mr Valdal and his wife Emily moved to Toowoomba where they’ve seen their business go from strength to strength,
It started when their first Toowoomba renovation at 37 Arthur St gained huge attention when they transformed the rundown cottage into a modern, suburban stunner.
Last year they also took out one of the industry's most prestigious national awards for a renovation on 74 Campbell St.
The company won the Master Builders Australia National Luxury Alterations/Additions Award in the range of $650,000 to $1 million.
The company also builds new homes and the work is so in demand, they are already booking in work for next year.
