Take 3D tour of homes

Explore your dream house before you build or buy in Toowoomba

HOME buyers no longer have to simply imagine what their dream home could look like, they can now take a 3D tour before it’s built.

In an Australian first, GJ Gardner Homes has taken virtual experience to a new level by creating their home designs using the latest in 3D rendering technology.

The software allows home buyers the chance to get a sense of the design and feel by taking a virtual walk through.

Displayed on a 70-inch interactive whiteboard, residents can visit GJ Gardener Homes display house at 160 Kearney St and use it for themselves.

Director and sales manager Edward Thomas said the whiteboard was an access portal to a virtual display village.

“We are a bit unique in the sense the GJ has its own architect so we have access to a huge amount of plans and we wanted to incorporate them with this software,” he said.

“If potential clients come through and see our display home, think it’s lovely but are looking for something, bigger, smaller or different by having this system we can show them a range of different 3D aspects.

“It gives them as close a feeling as possible to being in the home without actually being there.

“They can interact with the board and see exactly what the home will look like.”

Since installing the software in early February GJ Gardner Homes in Toowoomba has seen an increase of about two clients a month.

As part of the virtual display village, people can also access virtual tours online at gjgardner.com.au.

It is open seven days a week.
