Nancye and Todd host night of laughs

-

STARS of the stage, Nancye Hayes and Todd McKenney will reflect on their life in showbiz in their new show Bosom Buddies on Friday, May 25 at the Empire Theatre.

Nancye and Todd tell backstage stories never before told and show video footage never before seen, in this performance as they sing, dance and reminisce for one night only.

Nancye Hayes began her career in My

Fair Lady in 1961 and established her name in the title role of Sweet Charity in 1967.

Ever since, Nancy has sung, danced and acted her way through a cavalcade of successes and into the hearts of Australia’s theatre audience for her remarkable contribution to Australian musical theatre.

Todd McKenney is best known for his time as the controversial judge on hit TV series Dancing with the Stars for 15 seasons, and his towering performance as Peter Allen in the Australian production of The Boy

From Oz for more than two years. Having been centre stage in Australia for more than 35 years, Todd has proven himself to be an inspiring, provocative, compelling and award-winning singer, dancer, actor and all-round entertainer.

Bosom Buddies is not the first time Nancye and Todd have come together on stage to delight audiences, after the enormously successful production of the touching play Six Dance Lessons in Six

Weeks in 2007.

As part of Bosom Buddies the audience is invited to ask the questions they’ve always wanted to ask.
