- MEGHAN HARRIS meghan.harris@thechronicle.com.au

IN JUST a few short years Teanna Born has made a name for herself in the body building industry.

The 24-year-old has competed nationally and internationally and won herself a string of trophies.

She won the 2015 WFF Queensland State Jnr and Overall Champ at the Gold Coast, and the 2015 WFF Australian Jnr and Overall Champ in Melbourne.

Ms Born has three international accolades to add to her collection as well, awarded the 2015 WFF Worlds Jnr Winner Pro card then the Miss World Pro Champion in South Africa, as well as coming in second place at the 2016 WFF Pro Universe in Florida.

For the past 16 weeks Ms Born has been preparing for the 2018 WFF Commonwealth Classic Pro-Am which is held tomorrow and open to professionals and amateurs.

She has been on a strict diet and workout regime. All her her hard work is paying off, and a day out from the competition Ms Born is happy with where her body is at.

Ms Born works out for two hours a day, fitting in cardio, gym work as well as posing sessions.

“I’m feeling the most confident that I ever have going into a competition. When you put all your energy into it, it’s rewarding to see an outcome that your happy with,” she said.

If Ms Born places in the Sunday competition she will qualify to enter the WFF Universe in Singapore in July.
