Koala Farms is a leading producer in the horticultural industry. We produce from properties in the Lockyer Valley and on the Darling Downs, providing year round production.

We are seeking a Permanent Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter, to Lead our mechanical team which is responsible for the Repairs and Maintenance of our growing fleet of Tractors, Trucks, Vehicles and Machinery. This position reports directly to the Farm Manager.

Responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

Performance management of the maintenance team.

Sound Computer Skills

The Service and repair of Koala Farms Assets.

Recording of all servicing and repairs.

Scheduling of machinery due for service.

Maintaining stocks of replacement parts and consumables for workshop and Service Vehicles. The successful applicant will need to be qualified as a diesel mechanic, and possess a strong work ethic, must have proven leadership abilities, have a high degree of integrity and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Remuneration is above award and negotiated based on experience and capability.
