MEN’S BOWLS ASSOCIATION

Clubs are reminded the Champion of Club singles will be played at Wests starting May 19-20.

Also the Champion of Champions pairs will be played at Norths May 26-27.

If you haven’t completed your club finals that whoever wins will be competing.

A big thank-you to Gatton, Laidley, Souths and Wests teams for playing in the Harry Warr/Keith Brown Shield.

Two bowls triples for the over 60’s last Wednesday 14 teams from Brisbane DBA and the Downs 84 players a great sight to see.

A big thank-you to Gatton who made up eight of the 14 rinks required.

Next year will be even bigger with Gatton extending to 16 rinks.

Unfortunately The Downs didn’t win the trophy. My excuse is the rain spoilt the last set. Our turn next year.
