CHECK OUT NEW TOURISM VIDEO

- MEGHAN HARRIS meghan.harris@thechronicle.com.au

A NEW video of Toowoomba shows the Garden City and the region in all its glory.

It is a mixture of both flyover drone footage, ground footage of key areas around town as well as clips of some of Toowoomba’s well-known figures.

It is enough to make any resident feel proud to call this part of Australia home.

The two-and-a-half minute clip was produced by Foxtail Production’s Amy Creighton.

The video came together as a result of Ms Creighton having leftover footage from many of her jobs around the Darling Downs.

Instead of letting them go to waste she decided to put them to good use.

“It was footage I’ve shot over the course of a few months in different locations,” she said.

“I wanted to use them all and put them together to promote the region.

“I am proud of where I live and the business has flourished due to support from people in Toowoomba, so creating these videos are a way to say thank you.”

It features our CBD, businesses, laneway art, parks and gardens, Table Top Mountain, sunflower fields, as well as key figures such as Mayor Paul Antonio, mountaineer Alyssa Azar and property developer Clive Berghofer.
