TOOWOOMBA burger legends Phat Burgers has teamed up with the biggest beef producer in Australia, JBS, to represent Toowoomba and the Darling Downs for the third time at Beef Australia.

Together with JBS, Phat Burgers will showcase the new swift premium range of local 90cl beef mince and rib eye.

It will be done through the famous van helsing and morning glory burgers as well as a Beef Australia’s signature rib eye steak sandwich with fresh produce from the Darling Downs.

Phat Burgers has been an urban institution for more than 10 years with burger lovers from all over the country coming to experience the unique flavours and freshest produce the region has to offer, with more than 500,000 burgers served and enjoyed.

Featured on the Beef Australia 2018 Phat Burgers menu will be the famous van helsing which has garlic 90cl beef pattie, organic beetroot, caramelised onions, fresh tomato, loose leaf lettuce, horseradish, bqq sauce and fresh mayo.

The van helsing has a strong showcase of local Darling Downs produce and the grass fed beef is sourced from the Rockhampton region.

Also featured on the menu will be the swift premium rib eye steak sandwiches, the morning glory and beef bacon and egg rolls with beef bacon from Queensland Choice Meats.

Phat Burgers coowner Richard May-Steers said he was thrilled to be part of the event.

“This is our third time at Beef Week Australia and we are happy to say we have partnered with JBS to showcase their swift premium range along with produce from the Darling Downs and we are excited about looking after Rockhampton and it’s visitors.”

Beef Australia 2018 kicks off this weekend at Rockhampton.
