THE hub of Toowoomba’s homewares and bulky-goods precinct is now offering a limited number of leasing opportunities through Colliers International Toowoomba.

The Home Consortium, at the southern end of Hume Street, is in the final stages of development and is looking for the right fit of tenants to complete the project.

Colliers International has partnered with Home Consortium to create 35 centres nationwide to house some of Australia’s largest and most popular brands – creating a broad mix of retail, bulky goods, food and beverage, play centres, home improvement, and services to each market.

By targeting specific mixes of brands, each centre will generate strong foot traffic to support all tenants.

Local agent Mr Troy Anderson believes that, "new tenants within Home Consortium are in a prime position to leverage off existing retailers from both within the building and those within the wider trading precinct."

The former Masters site in Middle Ridge is currently over 75% leased to a variety of national retailers, including Nick Scali Furniture, Oz Design Furniture, Early Settlers and Toys’R’Us.

Remaining floorplates are flexible from 500sq m to 1100sq m and are well suited to cafe, outdoor adventure and sporting goods, furniture, homewares, pet goods, or any business that finds current tenants complementary to their market.

The Centre is offering leases with generous incentives and competitive rates.

Strong branding exposure is available on the front of building and roadside signage and the 370-park car park is easily accessible from both Hume and Ruthven streets (carried through the Harvey Norman Centre) with ample loading dock facilities at the rear of the building.

"This large-format facility represents one of the last bulky goods sites remaining in the Toowoomba area, and opportunities to claim a space are limited, so we encourage all interested parties to register their interest as soon as possible," notes Mr Anderson.
