Intersection development answers southside demand

-

THE launch of the south-side’s newest food precinct has attracted strong traffic from customers looking for convenient dining opportunities at a prominent east-west juncture.

The Intersection, at the corner of Alderley and Ruthven streets, has received an exceptional reception since opening four months ago.

Only one tenancy remains in the centre, with LJ Hooker Commercial Toowoomba Director Julie Stewart currently seeking a complementary service operator for a 70sqm vacancy with an additional 35sqm of alfresco dining.

"The developer knew the southside had been demanding a quality food precinct, but everyone has been taken aback by the level of support the centre had received so early in its operation," said Mrs Stewart.

"The Intersection is perfectly positioned for food-based retailers with 28,000 vehicles passing the precinct, daily. Its locality, coupled with a strong and varied mix of retailers, has generated an outstanding reception, again proving an addition of its kind in the area has been long overdue."

The final available tenancy is book-ended by Baskin Robbins and Subway, which opens shortly.

Other retailers in the centre are Oportos, Burger Urge, and Café 63.

"The Intersection’s tenant mix has been warmly received by the market, so we’re welcoming proposals from a retailer that further strengthens the appeal of the centre, working in tandem with the existing service offerings of current tenants," said Mrs Stewart.
