1. RSPCA Million Paws Walk

3. Space Pilots rocket launch
WHEN: Today from 1.30pm WHERE: TARMAC model aircraft field, New England Hwy, 10km south of Toowoomba.
Come and sit in the warm sun and enjoy the spectacular launching of dozens of model rockets.
All rockets lovingly crafted by members of the Space Pilots Club. Great for children, parents and grandparents.
Heaps of parking, refreshments and toilets available.
4. Ramsay State School Race Day

WHERE: Clifford Park Racecourse
The ticket price of $88 gives you entry to the Turf Club and the new function room with viewing deck of the track, a two course meal, fashions on the field, in-house tote, multi draw raffles, live band and auction.

7. Hampton Festival
WHEN: Tomorrow 9.30am to 4.30pm
WHERE: Chapman Park, cnr Esk-Hampton Rd and New England Hwy, Hampton

8. David Hack Classic
WHEN: Tomorrow 8.30am to 2.30pm WHERE: Toowoomba Airport, Wilsonton
A C-27J Spartan battlefield airlift aircraft will be one of the major attractions at tomorrow’s David Hack Classic along with a range of aircraft and classic and antique motor vehicles.
Former Kingaroy resident Flight Lieutenant Oliver Kersnovski will be flying the C-271 Spart transport aircraft up from RAAF Base Richmond. He learnt to fly at Toowoomba Airport.
9. Oakey Street Sprints
WHEN: Today 8am to 9pm and tomorrow 8am to 3pm.
WHERE: Oakey (28km north-west of Toowoomba on Warrego Highway)
The Oakey Motorsport Club has been running the Oakey Street Sprints since 2009 and this weekend promises more of the best street sprints in the country.
Drivers will be competing in a wide range of classes of vehicles.
10. Heritage Centre family open day

Toowoomba’s Transport and Main Roads Heritage Centre is holding a special family open day tomorrow to coincide with the 20th Anniversary of the David Hack Classic Car and Aircraft Meet at the Toowoomba Airport.
Centre staff and volunteers will be sharing experiences and stories from the past 60 years of work and life in Transport and Main Roads (TMR) while they fire up the friction winch which powers the pile driving exhibit.
Children are invited to join the fun with an assortment of cartoon characters to meet along an entertaining children’s trail throughout the centre. They can also join in a treasure hunt through the main galleries. Hands on interactive exercises help illustrate Queensland’s road building history and there are plenty of fun souvenirs to take home.
