Council Meetings
The next meetings of Council’s Standing Committees will be held on 12 and 13 June commencing at 9am. The next Ordinary Meeting of Council will be held on 19 June commencing at 10am. A Special Meeting of Council to consider Reports relating to Development Applications will be held on 23 May commencing at 2pm. All meetings are at City Hall, 541 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba.
QLD Day Celebrations
Join us in celebrating our great state of Queensland. This week we’re painting the town maroon and lighting up City Hall, OCR, Margaret Street and Queens Park. Then join us 9 June to take on the Great Qld Day Park Run challenge at our five parkrun venues. Stay on and enjoy some birthday cake, remember to wear your best Maroon outfit and show your QLD pride! Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

Asbestos Disposal
Correct disposal of Asbestos is crucial to the safety of our staff and community. Domestic disposal of asbestos up to 250kg is accepted at most of our waste facilities. Winter Closure
Milne Bay Aquatic Centre 50m pool is set to close for winter from 28 May. This may be brought forward if weather conditions become colder than currently predicted. The indoor pool remains open for winter so you can keep enjoying your swimming.
