DUST off your dancing shoes and spend the night enjoying music and supporting the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.

The JB’s Presents Chapter III and Sir Jeffrey’s People This Time Around Tour is gearing up to support the foundation for another year.

The popular music event has raised $67,000 over the past three years and this year will also feature a performance by the iconic Little Pattie.

Chapter III drummer Col Zeller said the band got back together in 2015 for a 50-year celebration of JB’s Cabaret. The band originally started in the early 1960s in Toowoomba.

“We thought if we are going to do this we might as well do it for a purpose and what better purpose than the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation,” Mr Zeller said.

“I think people that come along on September 29, they will be treated to a really enjoyable night.”

Mr Zeller said the band was so honoured that the Toowoomba community continued to support its shows.

Toowoomba Hospital Foundation relationships manager Stacey Edwards said the event had become a highlight on the fundraising calendar, with inquiries starting as early as January.

“It is an inexpensive night out to hear some great nostalgic music,” Ms Edwards said.

“A lot of people wait for this through the year and it is almost like a reunion of people that were together at that time.”

Tickets for the September 29 event at Rumours International are on sale now and cost $45.
