Hugging photo confuses internet
AN IMAGE of a man and a woman hugging over an office chair has baffled the internet as to whose body is whose – and who is wearing the high heels.
The mind-melting picture is the latest viral post to perplex the internet, after the now infamous blue and black dress and the Yanny and Laurel audio recording.
In the image, shared on Twitter by CJ Fentroy, the pair are sharing a hug.
But the angle of their bodies and heads has left many confused over who is sitting and who is standing.
In the post, @Boom_likean808 says: “At first I thought he was wearing the heels.”
Another wrote: “I don’t get it. He is wearing heels!”
So Twitter user @fabyyy93 explained. “No he’s the one sitting on the chair with the red the girl is hugging him from the back wearing blue lol”.
Some took the opportunity to make jokes referring to the Laurel/Yanny debate.
“I only see Yanny,” @skizzlle wrote.
Another tweeted: “I heard ‘Yanny’. That’s all I’m saying.”
Some suggested that tilting your phone would help you see the image correctly, while others simply comment on how long the guy’s neck appears to be.
The image quickly picked up attention as some struggled to work it out and accumulated more than 44,300 retweets and 98,600 likes.
