THOSE who missed out on the opportunity to try top-shelf gin will have another chance this weekend.

The Spotted Cow will host Bottomless World Gin Day Party on Saturday from 2-6pm.

The gin-based celebration started in England in 2009 and grew from there.

Spotted Cow owner Phil Coorey said the event would have a more focused selection than Gin Sanity which was in February.

“I had too much variety at Gin Sanity,” Mr Coorey said

“When you have 80 different gins, people are not going to drink 80 different gins.

“A lot of people have been saying they are going to try the gins they didn’t get to try at Gin Sanity.”

The event will have a variety of gins from countries such as Australia, United States and Scandinavia.

This week is also Negroni Week which celebrates the gin-based cocktail.

“We’re going to put more negroni on the menu for the day,” he said.

“It’s a chance for us to come up with different cocktails that we didn’t do at Gin Sanity.

“The team is coming up with some good stuff.”

Tickets for Saturday’s event are limited.

Admission for the event is $99 per person which includes a drinks package, catering and entertainment.

Tickets for the event can be booked online by searching Bottomless World Gin Day Party on eventbrite.com.
