Free business coaching

-

ON THE back of the launch of the Business Navigator Program aimed at helping Western Downs businesses and entrepreneurs grow, diversify and commercialise their ideas, a series of community information sessions are being held across the region.

The free community information sessions are open to the public, entrepreneurs and small to medium local businesses who have promising business ideas but may just need a little help to get them up and running.

“This pioneering program is the first of its kind in regional Australia to offer individuals or small-medium businesses free access and advice from two specialised business navigators,” Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise CEO Ali Davenport said.

The Business Navigator Program offers one-on-one coaching and mentoring to help new (start-ups) and existing businesses (spring-ups) linking them to enterprise development resources and support. Businesses or individual candidates with promising ideas can gain tailored advice and ideas on how to best build their concept into a successful enterprise.

Funded by QGC and managed by TSBE, Business Navigator is helping to diversify the Western Downs economy.

TSBE appointed Neil Daly as the lead business navigator who will advise and guide businesses.

Business navigator information sessions will be held at Dalby on Thursday at the Myall Youth and Community Network Centre from 10am to 1pm.

A session will also be held at the Jandowae Community and Cultural Centre on July 5 from 10am to 1pm.

Local businesses or individuals from the Western Downs are encouraged to contact the Business Navigator Western Downs team at a session or at navigatorwesterndowns.com.au.
