The 15th Annual Wippells and Southern Downs Automotive Golf Day was held on Sunday. Great weather and a big field turned up. Tabitha Tape, Darren Hedges & Lachlan Meacle cleaned up the event with a great 49 7/8 net. Tabitha’s eagle on 11 the highlight. Wednesday 20th June ladies played an 18 hole stroke in conjunctio­n with the June Monthly Medal and the final round of Championsh­ips. Winner of the Monthly Medal was Dawn Bradford with a 67 Nett, Dawn won division2 Monthly Medal with the Division 1 winner being Margaret Muir with a 70 Nett. Margaret was the runner up on a cb, and the run down went to Bev Bacon with a 70 Nett. Pin on No 3 went to Jaynie Brown, Approach on 6/15 to Margaret Muir and 9/18 went to Dawn Bradford, finally the winner of the putts was Bev Bacon with 27 putts. Winners of the Championsh­ips were A Grade Joan Fisk, B Grade Yvonne Lebeter, C Grade Joy Watherston with D Grade being won by Bev Bacon. Winner of the Rosebowl which is the best net score over the 3 rounds of championsh­ips was Joan Fisk on a CB from Yvonne Lebeter. They had 210 Nett. Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th June.
