BODY BUILDER BORN FOR WORLD STAGE

-

TOOWOOMBA body builder Teanna Born is about to take the stage in her biggest competition yet, heading to Singapore to compete in the 2018 WFF Universe.

In April Ms Born competed in the 2018 WFF Commonwealth Classic Pro-Am and was named the 1st place Pro Sports Model Champion. It qualified her for the 2018 WFF Universe, where she will compete against other body builders from across the globe.

She said after almost 12 weeks of prep, she was finally where she wanted to be in terms of her physique.

With help from her coach Tory Thorton, she has been training seven days a week and is on a strict diet.

“Being winter it’s been harder to get up in the morning to train so I had to push myself a littler harder this time round due to lack of motivation,” she said.

“For most of my prep I haven’t been where I wanted to be but I’ve really knuckled down and am happy with where I am now.

“I am so excited but nervous as well.” Ms Born flies out to Singapore tomorrow ahead of the Sunday competition.

If she wins she will take out the title of 2018 WFF Miss Universe.

Ms Born is certainly making a name for herself in the industry having also won a string of titles in the past.

Regardless of how the event turns out, Ms Born plans to get back into it and prepare for the WFF Australian National Titles in October.
