STORY time doesn’t get much more magical than this classic and famous tale.

One of the most-read and famous children’s books of all time, The Very Hungry Caterpilla­r has made its way off the page and onto the stage in a splendid theatrical experience for the whole family.

Adventure into the world of Eric Carle’s incredible stories as they come to life on stage in this enchanting show when it returns to the Empire Theatre for five performanc­es.

Performing from Friday July 20 to Saturday July 21, families have the chance take in a Friday night evening show beginning at 6pm as well as a 10am performanc­e and 12.30pm performanc­e on Saturday.

The Very Hungry Caterpilla­r will feature some other delightful characters from three of Eric Carle’s bestsellin­g classics tales including The Artist Who Painted A Blue Horse, Mr. Seahorse and The Very Lonely Firefly.

This Australian made show will excite, educate and entertain new readers and first-time theatre-goers, while taking every generation on a trip back into their childhood to reclaim their imaginatio­n.

Created by Jonathan Worsley, directed by Naomi Edwards and with 75 magical puppets created by New York’s Puppet Kitchen, The

Very Hungry Caterpilla­r is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
