LANDMARK Harcourts Taroom will sell the 1429.35ha property “Loch Craig” under instructions of estate executors of the late Phyllis Whyte at Taroom Bowls Club on Thursday, August 2.
The property has just received 45mm of rain. It presents de-stocked with a full body of feed and immediate access for 600 dry cattle to the successful purchaser from auction day.
Although now de-stocked, it has been very lightly stocked for the preceding part of 2018 and heavily grassed with buffel and native grasses.
“Loch Craig” is located 10km north of Taroom, off the Leichhardt Highway via Baxters Lane.
The property is tick-free and a certified PMAV is locked in.
The property is top-quality grazing land of gently undulating brigalow, bottletree, belah and softwood scrub falling to fertile Dawson River flats, with a small area of red loams with scattered box, ironbark, and eucalypts.
The property features large frontages to both the Dawson River and Palm Tree Creek, with water pumped from permanent Dawson River waterholes to two turkeys’ nests and two x 5000g poly tanks reticulated to troughs, plus six dams and an equipped spring.
