RENEWABLE POWER

-

SMS, T/C 09/07. by RL. H, town, so correct, you’ve given them the answer. Renewable power never was, never will be the answer.

It has been the predominant, among other reasons that Queensland has some of, if not the highest cost power in the whole world.

This mad global warming issue was behind the push for everything green but the minute amount of pollution that we as a nation contribute is negligible.

Coal fired power stations can now be built practically emission / pollution free.

Which leaves no justifiable reason not to use the cheaper and more reliable means of producing power, instead of selling our coal to nations with old high polluting stations, which contaminate the atmosphere.

Do we need cheaper power? Ask those at home shivering ,with heaters not on, due to the unaffordable cost of electricity, go ask the previous owners of many of the local small businesses that have closed.

What was the reason you had to close? Ask the many businesses that are really struggling. What is the reason that you are having problems?

Dear electricity, practically unaffordable, will be among their primary answers.

So yes, we do need coal fired power stations again.
