Downs Demons announced

AUSSIE RULES: AFL Darling Downs has named the initial training squads of young men and women that will represent the region.

The boost in numbers for the Friday night women’s U17s competitio­n has given the Demons a huge boost in terms of playing experience and match fitness with full teams.

Among those named for the U17s girls team is Zimmorlei Farquharso­n, who represente­d NAB AFL Women's U18 National Championsh­ips.

Both sides will train on Sundays at Concordia Lutheran College. U14s boys: Ayden Bate, Clancy Biggar, Fletcher Browne, Corey Browne, Harry Copland, Patrick Dolbel, Sam Elliott, Aidan Goddard Smith, Phillip Grutt, Lawson Herbert, Riley Kingston, Clancy Leadbetter, Keegan Luck, Michael MacDonald, Mareng Mareng, Deng Majak, Ryan Marshall, Nicholas Maxwell, Clifford Mitchell, Aden Neary, Isaac Peake, James Potter, Flynn Ross, Henry Sheath, Jordan Sondergeld, Noah Spary, Seth Vadasz, Reiko Vermeulen, Jake Wright.
