-

A TOOWOOMBA law firm has been short-listed as a finalist for the legal industry’s most prestigious awards.

Range Lawyers is being recognised as part of the 2018 Australian Law Awards, listed as a finalist for Regional/Suburban Law Firm of the Year category.

The 18th annual Australian Law Awards, hosted by Lawyers Weekly in partnership with UNSW Law, recognises the outstanding contribution of Australia’s top lawyers and legal firms across 33 categories.

Range Lawyer’s principal Stefanie McDowell said she was humbled by the nomination.

Range Lawyers began in 2016 and can help people with residential and commercial property transactions, leasing, commercial law generally, project tendering, contract formation and administration during the project life cycle.

She said what made Range Lawyers stand out from other firms was the team’s attitude.

“Delivery of law is changing, it has to change. How many people like lawyers? Perception is a real issue in the profession,” she said.

“I started Range Lawyers with this in mind. Clients get a down-to-earth experience with us.”

“Being a long time local, we are also community driven.”

The winners will be announced at an awards dinner on Friday, August 31 at The Star in Sydney.
