The reigning PDC world champion No.3 ranked player in the world has been in good form, reaching the finals of the World Masters Series in both Las Vegas and Shanghai. He lost to Gary Anderson in America and Michael Smith in China and will want to turn those losses into wins down under and get his first World Series title under his belt.

After coming to prominence when defeating Phil Taylor in the 2016, Perth Masters, the former World Youth champion has gone from strength to strength, winning his first PDC title in 2018 before finishing runner-up to Gary Anderson at the UK Open. Cadby was runner-up to fellow Australian Kyle Anderson in the 2017 Auckland Masters.

MICHAEL VAN GERWEN

Age: 29

After losing to Rob Cross in the World Championsh­ip final in January, van Gerwen has been the one to beat on the PDC tour. The Dutch star has won a remarkable 15 titles this season, including the Premier League for a third consecutiv­e year. Has not won since defeating Michael Smith in the final in May. Van Gerwen is the three-time defending champion of the World Series of Darts and will want to add to that this year.
