POWER 100 YOUNG GUNS

YOUNG GUNS

-

THE Toowoomba of tomorrow will be shaped by the next generation.

As a region regarded for its innovation and prowess, and as its landscape constantly evolves, the emerging movers and shakers are charged with safeguarding and shaping the success in coming years.

That influence will not be confined to only bricks and mortar.

As the world moves through the digital age, the city will continue to produce inspirational leaders.

Some have already left their mark in a very literal way such as Kenneth Wagner, the young gun developer who brought something new to the CBD night life and entertainment precinct.

Following the success of The Office under his ownership, Toowoomba is keenly watching his work at the former Gladstone Hotel, and he tops our list of young powerbrokers.

Others, such as Bindy Scott, may be unknown to some locally but this blogger and social media influencer has amassed an international following in the online space.

Emerging sports stars the likes of Cameron Shields, who has already written his name into history before leaving high school, continue our sporting legacy.

Likewise for adventurer Alyssa Azar, the conqueror of mountains and inspirational mentor to young women.

Deng Arok, the embodiment of all that is good in people, showing the country that being born in a refugee camp in the South Sudan is no stumbling block to success, and emerging Hollywood stars like Alec Snow and music artist Tayla Mae.

As the world changes around them, this next generation is well-placed and able to ensure they leave their mark.
