Opening date for PappaRich

AN AWARD-WINNING Malaysian eatery chain is opening its first regional Queensland restaurant in Toowoomba next week.

PappaRich will open at Grand Central’s restaurant precinct, next to Max Brenner on Friday, August 17.

Establishe­d in 2012, PappaRich has fast become a household name in the Malaysian community.

Catering to the modern Australian, Toowoomba’s express store is designed to not only accommodat­e those in a hurry, but those who prefer to have the full Malaysian experience.

PappaRich marketing and PR manager Jeannette Kuek said she was excited to share a taste of Malaysian culture and cuisine with Toowoomba.

Grand Central’s PappaRich will also be introducin­g the first self-ordering kiosk in Queensland which is perfect for those who prefer an express order method.

PappaRich caters to all food enthusiast­s, approachin­g the menu like a map delving into Malaysia’s unique palate.

It includes a signature Nasi Lemak dish with strong fiery sambal, a chicken curry laksa with creamy spicy coconut broth, savoury satay and Char Koay Teow. It also caters for vegetarian­s.

On August 23 and 24, PappaRich will be celebratin­g its grand launch with promotions and giveaways including buy one meal and get the other for free.
