DAVID SNOW

-

REAL estate is big business in Toowoomba and the man with his finger on the pulse on its changing trends is David Snow.

Beyond his respected position as agent and auctioneer at family agency Peter Snow and Co, Mr Snow is the Real Estate Institute of Queensland zone chair for Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.

It’s a role that mandates a robust understanding of the industry beyond the zone’s borders as it represents the REIQ at a local level.

In essence, Mr Snow is the voice of the region’s real estate community, representing them to the state’s peak body, and is regarded as the leading authority on real estate and property-related issues.

It is perhaps a natural role for the agent who has more than three decades of experience in real estate during which he has amassed a highly specialised knowledge of the Toowoomba market.

He is principal of Peter Snow and Co in Toowoomba which he runs with his brother Peter as the second generation in the company founded by his father, Peter Snr, in 1951.

Trusted by his clients for his sound advice, both selling and buying, and for his dogged commitment to marketing, Mr Snow has carved out a repeat customer base over his years in the real estate industry and is one of the highest ranked agents in Toowoomba.

Mr Snow was a key instigator of the Toowoomba Real Estate Blood Challenge in 2017 which saw the industry’s leaders put aside professional rivalries and unite for the Toowoomba Blood Donor Centre, in partnership with the city’s Chamber of Commerce.

Mr Snow gained his licensed auctioneer qualification in 1987.
