OUR TEANNA NOW COVER GIRL
IT APPEARS there is no stopping Teanna Born, as she continues to grow a name for herself in the body building industry.
She is not only making name for herself here in Toowoomba, but also in Australia and around the world.
In July she was crowned WFF Pro Miss Universe at the 2018 WFF Universe in Singapore.
This isn’t her first international win, but it is one that has propelled her further into the spotlight.
Ms Born’s latest achievement is gracing the cover of her favourite fitness magazine, Oxygen, which circulates Australia-wide. Oxygen Magazine Australia provides results-based training and nutritional expertise.
Her mum applied her for the magazine’s cover girl competition last year and while she got through to the finals she didn’t hear anything back.
But two weeks before she was due to fly out the the 2018 WFF Universe, they phoned and asked her to visit their office for an interview and photoshoot.
It wasn’t until last week that Ms Born found out she was going to be on the cover.
“I was absolutely blown away to be on the cover of a magazine, and especially Oxygen as it is a huge magazine in the Australian fitness world,” she said.
“They have good morals, promote women and don’t use photoshop.
“In my interview I spoke about overcoming depression, aiming to be a role model for others and my fitness journey.”
Ms Born is training for her next competition the WFF Nationals in October and will hopefully qualify for the world titles in California in November.
She is also working on her new business venture TNT Fitness offering science backed fitness and wellness programs and challenges focusing on nutrition, training and mindset.
