Your chance to join the Power100

MISSED out on making The Chronicle’s Power 100 list of the region’s most influential people?

Well, here’s your chance to stake a claim for the next compiled list.

With $100 million suddenly in your wallet courtesy of tomorrow night’s Powerball draw, you could soon be as influential as anyone on the Darling Downs.

Certainly your boss will be under your influence when you tell him/her what he/she can do with your job.

Newsagencies across the region have been reporting brisk business with customers trying all sorts of quick picks and systems to try and score Powerball’s biggest jackpot.

The thing is, you could score the $100m with an entry that costs as little as $4.80 for four standard games or, if you’re really adventurous, you could have a go at the top entry of a PowerHit System 15 which will set you back a mere $154,736.

Tanya Butler placed her Powerball entry at News Extra South St which has sold two First Division Lotto prizes in the last 10 months.

Her plans for the $100m were simple.

“Hopefully early retirement and finish home renovations,” she said.

However, she’s not greedy and would be happy to share the big prize.

“I don’t need all of it... just some of it,” she grinned.
