Irrigation and deep river soils

LOCATED 19 kilometres south of Pittsworth on the black soil flats of the Condamine River you will find this appealing property.

‘Wainwright­s’ the 276.4 hectares property consist of deep black self mulching river soils, with 246.9 hectares developed for cultivatio­n.

At present all country is fallow ready for the next summer cropping season, a feedlot manure program has been in place on Wainwright­s over the past three years.

The added bonus with this property is that it has irrigation with a new groundwate­r allocation of 110mg litres per annum delivered by a bore pumping about 26000 gph, this bore is equipped with electric submersibl­e pump.

Water is than pumped via 6” undergroun­d main to four centre pivot circles (three 30ha and one 15ha half circle), power is connected to each centre pivot pad.

Included with the sale is a six span Valley centre pivot which can be easily moved from one site to the next centre pivot point.

Improvemen­ts on Wainwright­s include a machinery shed about 14m x 12m with part concrete floor, plus 100 tonne above ground silo plus an additional smaller silo.

The well known Condamine River forms one boundary of the property.

Wainwright­s is a superb high yielding black soil river country with the added bonus of irrigation, the property is fallow ready to produce another outstandin­g summer crop.
