With time, discussion and thought, Steve and his team will deliver the best solution

Understanding that the building experience is remembered long after the job is completed, Steve Glover from Paragon Homes has shaped his business to deliver maximum client satisfaction.

Having started as an apprentice in 2002, Steve learned at the hands of a highly regarded local builder and a group of incredible tradesmen before starting his own building business. He is passionate about helping his clients reach the best outcome.

“I believe too many people settle for average. We like to challenge our clients,” he said. Steve and his team aim to inspire their clients to look deeper and to understand the purpose of what it is they want to achieve.

“Building a home is most likely one of the biggest financial and emotional investments of a person’s life. Why settle for a standard house plan, plucked off the wall, when you can have so much more with a little time, discussion and thought,” said Steve, who believes a great building experience is all about relationships.

“Although it is important, the plans and specifications of the build are a minor part of engaging a builder,” said Steve. He explained not every builder is necessarily going to be the right fit for every build. “Your builder needs to take time to understand what your fears, frustrations, wants and aspirations are.”

Steve believes building a home isn’t a ‘you do what I say, because I’m paying you’, or a ‘I’m the builder, so I know best’ kind of journey. “The best results happen when client and builder join forces as a team and work side by side towards a common vision.”

Nominating a project for an award means a great deal to the team at Paragon Homes. “So much effort from our team and trades go into each home we build and, while nominating the project is nice, the best feeling is when handing over the keys to our clients and seeing the delight in their faces. That is what it’s all about and why we will continue to do what we do.”
