Dads can chill out in new ‘cave’ at Grand Central

-

GRAND Central has converted a space in its Market Room into a dad cave ahead of Father’s Day.

Grand Central marketing manager Marieke Bridgeman said the dad cave would give dads a space to chill out during a shopping trip to the centre with the family.

“Dads and kids can kick back in the lounge area with PlayStation, have some fun on an arcade game, get competitive with a little table tennis and mini-golf, or relax in the camp chairs and play a fishing game,” she said.

The dad cave is open daily from 9am to 5pm until Father’s Day.

“The products and activations in the area have been supplied by Grand Central retailers including iPlay, EB Games, Rebel Sport, Big W and Kmart,” Ms Bridgeman said.

Ms Bridgeman said with Father’s Day fast approaching, now was the time to also start thinking about what to buy dad.

“There are a range of great offers across the centre, and our retailers will be happy to chat to customers about gift ideas to suit the special dad in your life.”

Grand Central is also running a Father’s Day Facebook competition, where there are 10 prizes to be won.

These include camping and outdoor gear, a massage voucher, a book pack, dinner and movie, a haircut, or a new watch.

All the details are on Grand Central’s Facebook page.
