1. MY LOCAL FEAST FARMERS MARKETS

Where: Cobb and Co Museum, Lindsay St, Toowoomba
TOOWOOMBA’S genuine farmers' markets held bi-weekly: Saturday beside Cobb and Co on the corner of Lindsay and Campbell Streets, East Toowoomba, from 7am to 12noon and on Wednesdays at The Mills Precinct on the corner of Ruthven and Campbell Streets, Toowoomba, from 2pm to 6pm.
2. BLACKSMITHING BASICS
When: Today and Sunday 8am to 4pm
Where: Cobb and Co, Lindsay St, Toowoomba
Learn the basics of blacksmithing from Australian champion blacksmith Terry Drennan and create your own set of blacksmithing tools.
You will make a set of blacksmithing tools including a cold chisel, hot cutter, round punch, oval punch, centre punch and tongs. As well as your tools, you will take away the basic skills of blacksmithing including operating a forge and using the tools and anvil. After completing this workshop, you are eligible to participate in the Blacksmithing Advanced Workshop.
3. BITES AND BEATS TWILIGHTS MARKETS
When: Today 3pm to 8pm
Where: Queens Park (Frogs Hollow) THIS will be a very special Twilight Shopping event reflecting an inner-city Eat Street Vibe.
Browse the boutique markets at dusk then stay on for a relaxed dinner. Indulge in a smorgasbord of delicious cuisines while listening to local musicians. Our designer market alley will feature quality boutique, handmade and artisan products. Approx 50 market stalls.
Jumping castle, free face painting, lawn games, arts and crafts and live music. Supporting the Local Community. $2 entry for adults with kids free.
4. A CAPELLA CONCERTS
When: Today from 5.30pm
Where: Toowoomba Philharmonic Society, 7 Mathews St, Harristown
COME and enjoy an evening of wine, cheese and song from 5.30pm. Join High Altitude Harmony as we present a jam packed evening of food and music. 5. COOL NIGHTS BIG BAND MOWTOWN AND MORE

Where: Empire Church Theatre Cool Nights Big Band are back for a night full of Motown, Soul, Funk and Blues. Get your groove-on and dance the night away. Cash bar available, byo nibbles.

7. FRIENDLY GAMES HAIRDRESSING COMP 2018
When: Tomorrow 8.45am to 3.45pm Where: TAFE Queensland, 100 Bridge St, Toowoomba
The Friendly Games Hairdressing Competition allows apprentices, trainees and full-time Certificate III students to compete in a friendly, non-threatening environment.
This year we have structured the competition day so that all levels of apprentices/trainees and full-time students have the chance to compete. The Schedule:
Category 1 - Thermal Styling Incorporating a Braid (9am–10.30am)
Category 2 - Open Men’s Barbering (9am - 11.30am)
Category 3 - Men’s Fashion Cut and Finish (10.45am–11.45am)
Category 4 - Ladies Fashion Style Cut and Finish (10.45am–12.15pm) Lunch 12.15pm–1.15pm Category 5 - Open Creative Upstyling (1.30pm–2.30pm)

8. FLURO AEROBICS CHALLENGE
When: Tomorrow 9am to 10am
Where: St Saviour’s Primary, 14 Lawrence St, Toowoomba
START your Sunday right and join us for a world record attempt for the most people doing aerobics simultaneously while dressed in fluro on Sunday.
The event is designed to get your heart pumping and contribute towards the goal of raising $105,000 for the Helping Hearts Campaign.

9. HANDS ON RAVIOLI WORKSHOPS

10. MINIATURE STEAM TRAIN AND MODEL T BUS RIDES
When: Tomorrow from 10am to 2pm
Where: Pioneer Village Highfields COME and ride Myrtle May the Miniature Steam Train which runs on a 10-1/4 inch gauge circular track at the village with three passenger carriages which take up to 20 people at any one time.
Or have a vintage bus ride on Henry the Model T Ford bus built in 1924 which can take 12 passengers at once.
