Dads, kids help those in need

-

AS PART of their ongoing partnership, Oscar Oscar Salons and Metro Care Toowoomba are set to host a “Dads and Daughters” hair-styling workshop on Tuesday, September 4, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Oscar Oscar in Toowoomba.

Salon partner Hollie-Jay Taylor and Metro Care’s Matt Gregg are excited to provide Toowoomba with a Father’s Day gift that will truly give back to the community.

“This is a perfect opportunity for fathers to bond with their kids whilst making a difference by helping those in need,” Hollie-Jay said.

Tickets are just $50 per father/daughter pair with all proceeds going to support METRO Care and their community service initiatives.

The “Blokes and Braids” event includes an evening of interactive workshops where blokes will learn professional hair tips and kids will learn how to “brush like a boss”.

Not only will participants learn a trick or two, they’ll also receive dinner, drinks and gift bags.

It really is the perfect night out and Father’s Day gift, all in the name of charity.

There will also be several lucky door prizes and those who book before August 25 will go into the draw to win a family night out at Grumpy’s Tavern.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Oscar Oscar to create such a unique event which will help us continue to change lives among the local community,” Matt said.
