TFL’s top performers honoured

FOOTBALL: The Toowoomba Football League’s top performers were honoured last night.

The competitio­n’s finals kick-off tomorrow but at the City Golf Club all eyes were on the regular season’s stars.

His side may have missed out on the finals but Warwick Wolves player Robert Davey took home the coveted Premier Men’s Most Valuable Player award, while Rockville Rovers star Samantha Stubbs was named women’s MVP.

Willowburn’s strong showing across multiple divisions saw them claim the Club Championsh­ip.
