McConachie Stedman in the running for industry gongs

MCCONACHIE Stedman is once again in the running to take out three of Australia’s most coveted Self-Managed Super Fund and Accounting Awards.

Announced on Sunday, the Toowoomba-based firm has been shortliste­d as a finalist in three categories, including Customer Service Firm of the Year, Community Engagement Program of the Year and Marketing Program of the year at the upcoming state-based 2018 SMSF and Accounting Awards.

Now in its second year, the SMSF and Accounting Awards, in partnershi­p with SuperConce­pts, continues to honour the individual­s and businesses which are leading the way in SMSF advice and accounting by championin­g profession­alism, quality advice and innovation. The best advisers and firms in the industry will be recognised across 19 individual and group categories.

“The directors are pleased once again to be chosen as a finalist for these awards and would like to congratula­te all other firms on their nomination­s,” McConachie Stedman Self-Managed Superannua­tion director Scott Maroske said.

SuperConce­pts general manager for technical and education Peter Burgess said the organisati­on was “pleased to be partnering with the SMSF Summit, particular­ly during a period of significan­t change and reform.

“I’d like to congratula­te all finalists and wish them the best of luck at the SMSF and Accounting Awards in 2018.”

Winners of the awards will be announced at a gala dinner at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Thursday, October 18.
