Local agents recognised at state awards
MORE than 1250 real estate agents and guests attended the prestigious Ray White Queensland annual awards at the Royal International Convention Centre recently – to celebrate the achievements of the top offices and individuals throughout the network.
Ray White Queensland has a lot to celebrate considering it traded just on $8.6 billion in residential property sales, made up of more than 15,000 transactions in 2017-18.
Ray White Queensland CEO Tony Warland said everyone wants a place to call home.
"I believe the game we are in is indeed the ‘Great Australian Dream’. Our business is to be a part of the Great Australian Dream," Mr Warland said. "We provide service, advice and resources to fuel those ambitions and turn that dream into a reality. Whether that be individuals or families buying, selling, renting or investing. We too strive to achieve the Great Australian Dream for ourselves and loved ones."
The night saw local agent Tony Franke and Bec Southey of Ray White Toowoomba Range & Highfields (pictured right) being recognised for their Excellence in Print Media.
Acknowledging the quality of their marketing efforts in print throughout the last financial year, Mr Franke said the accolade was a testament to the hard work of the past 12 months.
"My team and I have worked extremely hard to make sure our listings, and the Ray White brand, are front and centre in our community.
"Probably most importantly, we are proud to offer our clients the very best marketing options available," he said.
Ray White Group director Dan White said the award illustrated the energy within the group.
"It fills me with immense pride every year when our state awards are announced and our people are recognised – to see so many individuals performing so well within the group can be put down to hard work and dedication.
"So many of our members are achieving great things. Their commitment to the Ray White brand is what delivers such impressive results for our group overall," Mr White said.
Celebrations didn’t end there for the local teams with Lorna Poulton (Toowoomba) and Kent Woodford (Toowoomba Range) being recognised for their 10 years of service.
